Days Between Dates Calculator

Count signed calendar days between two dates, with an option to include the end date.

How to use this tool

Measure the calendar-day distance from a start date to an end date.

Transparent method

Formula and method

Difference = end date − start date. Inclusive mode adds one day in the direction of the result when the dates differ.

Example

From 1 March to 10 March is 9 elapsed calendar days, or 10 days when the end date is included.

Assumptions and limits

  • A negative result means the end date is before the start date.
  • The same start and end date returns zero days.

Frequently asked questions

How are calendar dates handled?

CorelyUp uses calendar dates rather than elapsed hours, so daylight-saving time changes do not add or remove a day.

Are leap years included?

Yes. The date engine validates real calendar dates and includes leap days when they fall inside the selected range.
